Appreciate the reply. I agree indeed more dangerous hence why I’ll likely still go the hardline route but was curious as his is just sitting not being used.

My brother has a wireless remote WARN 90287 laying about that isn’t being used. Out of curiosity has anyone wired one up to a 8274?
Regardless of if it is compatible I’ll likely still hardline it. But still curious!
Winch is in and currently working on getting it wired. Contemplating upgrading the 4g to 2g but still undecided. The old remote and socket is 4 pin and it needs to be replaced so that’s on the to-do list.
Ya I plan on running the stock motor as my truck is 12V and the winch 12V as well.

Just picked up my first 8274 for my 79 series.
looking at all the other 8274’s in this thread the remote line fixes to the centre of the solenoid cover.
Has mine be modified or did they ever come factory from Warn as such.
