    WARN 8274...show what ya got!

A battery disconnect is a good idea. I’ve picked up some Anderson connectors for that very application. I feel like the WARN wireless would be of good quality. My original question was surrounding if anyone had wired their 8274 with that model of wireless remote. I have read of some initial...

    WARN 8274...show what ya got!

Appreciate the reply. I agree indeed more dangerous hence why I’ll likely still go the hardline route but was curious as his is just sitting not being used.

    WARN 8274...show what ya got!

To all you knowledgeable WARN 8274 folk: My brother has a wireless remote WARN 90287 laying about that isn’t being used. Out of curiosity has anyone wired one up to a 8274? Regardless of if it is compatible I’ll likely still hardline it. But still curious!

    WARN 8274...show what ya got!

Winch is in and currently working on getting it wired. Contemplating upgrading the 4g to 2g but still undecided. The old remote and socket is 4 pin and it needs to be replaced so that’s on the to-do list.

    WARN 8274...show what ya got!

Got the winch off the cradle. Time for a little polish and clean up. Also ordered an Albright solenoid and new cable boots.

Thanks for the offer! I’ll give it some thought. I’ve seen others mounting it to the bumper elsewhere.

    WARN 8274...show what ya got!

Just picked up my first 8274 for my 79 series. looking at all the other 8274’s in this thread the remote line fixes to the centre of the solenoid cover. Has mine be modified or did they ever come factory from Warn as such.
