Can't seem to locate my manual and getting different answers online. Could someone tell me the torque specs for a 98 runner real axle 4 bolts?

Its these bolts, so 71 in lbf?

Anyone know the torque specs for the rear axles on a '98? Can't find my manual. Talking about the 4 bolts holding the axles in the housing (hub). TIA

Yeah, I couldn't find an LSVP anywhere, cuz there ain't one on a '98 4runner. I've have read some about the ABS issue. Will be testing that. Thanks again.

I'm not seeing a bleeder anywhere. Assuming the lsvp is the 2 shaped valve on top of the diff.

I'll check that. Does that mean there is a bleeder screw on the lspv? or are you saying start the bleed from the rear wheels?

You win! I sanded the terminals and tightened the ground wire some more. Cranked right up. thanks. Saved me a trip to the shop. I was about to give up.

It wasn't even all that deep. I think I took it a little too fast and got a big splash. We found a loose ground wire yesterday, hooked that up and got dashboard lights. Turned the key and: click. All dark again. The fuses all look good. Gonna clean everything this morning and try again.
