    heater core leaking

I feel for you. Seems like no one talks about heater core problems on the 100’s. Best to stay very organized with the nuts and bolts that have to come out.

wonder why the 100 a/c fan is making a weird noise...

My fan developed a whining/squealing sound, on all settings but low. I took out the fan there was just a few small leaves, which surprised me. I haven’t reinstalled it yet, as I really don’t think the sound matched debris in the housing. I’m guessing a bearing is on its way out. When I spin it...

How to predict spring and torsion bar settling

Ok folks, this is where I am at. After installing the ironman front bumper and winch, I have purchased parts to get my suspension back to a better position. I plan to install ome torsion bars and 865 rear springs with air bags. In theory I would try to install everything in a weekend, get an...

    Radiator Flush/Coolant Drain DIY

For those concerned about excess distilled water being left over, you can remove the oil cooler hose and get some more out. Probably not worth the effort, but that’s just an opinion. Also if you force air in the system with a compressor, you get some extra water out of the system.

Front wheel bearings question - really could use some help/advice

Brass hammer. I didn’t have the nut flush enough with the end of the stud. This allowed the nut to push and fold a few threads over. I couldn’t get them corrected with a file and my tap and die set didn’t have this pitch. Seems to be the way it goes, wait three days for a $2 part to come in to...

Front wheel bearings question - really could use some help/advice

I just messed up a flange stud trying to break the cone washers free. I checked the threads before replacing it. I didn’t record it, but I believe @JunkCrzr89 is correct and the threads are M8x1.25

Ironman wiring park/indicator to DRL question

Thinking about this more. If reduced voltage is the issue, why don’t both Ironman lights not work? Shouldn’t both be receiving 6v?

Ironman wiring park/indicator to DRL question

Thanks. I’m not very smart, especially with electrical. How would this relay change the voltage?

Ironman wiring park/indicator to DRL question

If this is the case, and it does make sense, then there is no easy fix correct? If I need 12v, but am only getting 6v, I may need to abandon this configuration.
