There's a Costco Gas Station in Victorville, about 45 miles away; and, Eddie World (huge gas station/store/rest stop) is right off the I-15 at Calico Road.

Glad you guys can make it (weather permitting, of course)! We've done both Doran & Odessa in the past, when more of the rigs were built a little more hard-core. I had the only 80 Series at the time on those trails. Got quite a bit of attention... It's not likely we'll try those trails on this...

I just re-checked my facts - Big Bear has gotten 15" of snow since January 1, and the resorts are open. I also just talked to Marc, who suggested coming up the back way through Hesperia. We could take 3N14 - Coxey Road out of Hesperia, and head towards Fawnskin. Depending on conditions & timing...

I think this Saturday might be a good day for a local snow run in Big Bear. They've gotten only a few inches so far this year (not enough to open the ski lifts), but it's actually snowing there now as I write this. It might be a good way to check out snow-wheeling without the risk of super deep...

Oooh, playin' with the big boys, huh? When I ran it last (2012) I had about 1 ½' more lift, but I was also on stock gearing. Maybe it's a wash? Worth considering... I do wonder, though, how much the trail has changed in 10 years...
