For those of you who are using MUD on a mobile device, it probably won’t read the dxf. At least my iPhone won’t read the File, what you may have to do is download AutoCAD to view the manifold….. that’s how I got it to work, I’m going to try transferring this file to TorchMate tomorrow.

I took my Rebuilt A440F transfer case, and put it on my H55F, the swap went well (I hope), but I am confused about the preload and the FSM doesn’t specify well.
What/how do you preload the front AND rear companion flange stake nuts? The FMS says that the nut must be torqued to 94-FT...
Dang I’m trying to sell my 3FE with 190,000 miles, it has rebuilt trans and T-Case….. any idea what that’s worth compared to the non rebuilt? The PO spent 6 grand doing that. It must be worth more that 1200 bucks.

This happened to our 80 series when I was young- they used a pumpkin to smash the glass then take off, they never took anything either.
I suggest finding a used one, they can’t be hard to find, I even have a spare one, but Shipping glass isn’t a good idea.

So I have been learning more about the H55F.
I am learning how, the trans is essentially a 4 speed with a 5th gear strapped onto it.
It’s weird how the 5th gear linkage is at the top of the transmission randomly.
Also, where is the 5th gear oiler?
