something we are worried about too, it looks to us like this hinge point on the drivers side would have to pivot all the way to the opposite direction if we make the passenger side reach it’s mounting point.
I'm in the middle of installing a tough dog suspension lift on my 2010 LC. We chose to leave the KDSS closed during install to see if it would remain level afterwards.
We have the front and rear suspension on, but there here is the problem:
The front passenger side linkage will not reach the...
I have a 2010 LC that is missing the remote that controls the rear dvd screen. I have a universal IR "learning" remote. So I need to find a 2010-2011 LC owner that has their remote so i can "teach" my universal remote the ir codes with it. Nothing will happen to the owner's oem remote...
Finally made it out to Gorges and rode Chestnut Mtn Rd / Auger Hole Rd all the way to the NC/SC line. There was a closed gate there. I did go through a few open gates, which I think will be closed starting 1/1.
Does anyone know if this kit allows the hatch to open if the doors are locked?
I need this kit, but my dog rides in the cargo area, so I'm hoping for a solution to prevent him from opening the hatch while going down the highway.
I know this is an older thread, but I have an ignorant question:
What is the difference in the 40mm adjustable vs 45mm adjustable? I assume the 45mm is for heavier loads but I'm not sure.
On the tough dog website, both versions have a light, medium, and heavy option.
@80t0ylc Thanks for the informed reply. Just to show you how much of a newbie I am to this topic, I have never heard of an off-road hitch before.
My tow vehicle is a 200 series LC with mild lift, 33's and rock sliders. Utility trailer is the plan. As far as trails, that is harder to define...
I realize this is a very generic/vague question, but it is a legitimate one I have while planning a trailer build. What aspects of any given trailer allow it to make it through trails/terrain over others?
Some come to my mind, but I am more or less just guessing:
Approach / Departure Angle...
Another bump for this old thread...I came across a Tacomaworld post saying the gate at the NC-SC line was open connecting Auger Hole Rd and Musterground Rd. Was wondering if anyone had any intel?
I know OP's time window has already passed, but I recommend the Georgia Traverse for anyone that stumbles across this thread. Be sure to include a detour to Earls Ford Rd to cross Warwoman creek. Stop at the banks of the Chattooga river though.
