Thank you all for the insight. This is why I ask. This girl already has an old man emu 2" mild lift so I think I'll just leave her be not real interested in cutting and chopping the frame up.
I bumped into a fellow enthusiast. He spoke of some spring shackles replacements to flip the springs around to correct the lurch forward or back???. Does anyone know what he may have been referring too I think he may have said they were built in Oregon. I just cant recall what he meant or where...
My fuel gauge stopped reading on my HJ47. She has duel tanks and it doesnt read on either so I would guess it's not the tanks and must be somewhere after the gizmo that flips between tanks and the gauge. Any thoughts that might narrow it down for the barely a shade tree knuckle buster?
Is this still available? How much is the ride to Washington 98252? I see your number now and can call Monday if that's better. If there are others available I would prefer the square side opening door.
I am very aware that locks only keep honest people honest and if somebody wants something bad enough and they have the patience they'll get it. I just want to make it tougher so they really have to work at it. I'm a big believer in triple the S theory but that only works in some situations...
I wanted to ask y'all. What are you doing to keep your 40s in your garage? With the accelerated value and relative ease to steal these older gems. What are you adding to prevent yours from being hotwired, etc.....? I live in the sticks so I dont worry about much at home and driving around...
for those who have added an additonal fuel tank. i wasnt paying attention at the pumps the other day and bumped the door off the secondary tank it snapped off completely. i'm wondering what others have used for a fuel door for their rigs when they have added a second tank. i am not having much...
hey y'all just curious what you doing for an overhead storage option. i have a metal tech roll cage and a overhead shelf that will not fit with the cage. i dont want to chop up this rather nice shelf to try and make fit if there is something else out there they will work with the cage.
i have a 84 HJ47 with the 2H I6. i need or will need soon... wipers, glow plugs and brake pads for the parking brake. forgive my ignorance mine is on the driveline as it was explained to me
My town's car show was today. I was there with my HJ47 Troopy. I was very surprised when I saw a FJ45. It was a great day the FJ45 took best in show and will now be on next years tshirt and posters. I took best SUV.
Yeah never noticed when parked and rains. Leads me to think possibly just cause was driving. I wondered if the over lap was correct as I rear on inside but the outer window is the forward one so driving forward it should prevent from just pushing the rain in. I ended up just settling on the...
i had some sparking when i powered up and used the warn 8274 winch so i pulled the solenoid box off to look for corrosion or loose connectors. i took pictures to help with reassembly even though theyre a pretty simple design. i still managed to put the power from the battery and the power to the...
