Hmmm, pass. Looks nice, clean, but it's a little silly in some respects. 400hp+ and a M22 in a short wheelbase 4x4? Not my taste I guess. Ridiculous place to put a battery. Gotta wonder how the rear shocks play with the exhaust on the trail. And for that much cash it needs the spare tire carrier.

I can't say that I've ever used the fish scale in the process (maybe once). Generally just pre torque, back off, then snug and bend the tab.

I tried to make those Ford towers work. Couldn't work it out on my set for some reason.

Glucosamine treatment for an old warrior

Finally got the old beast on the dirt again. This past weekend. All 2WD, but still nice to be on the trail again.

Guess I'm a little delinquent in checking in. You're probably way past done by now. And it looks like you're on the same track I was. Only change I've had was adding a spacer behind the box. My serpentine ps pump pulley was getting into the box when wheeling hard.

I'm sure mine must be "old style" as I bought in the past century :) Your pics look like I remember.

    Need suggestions for non-working clutch

Actually now that I think about it I still have that adapter in there :) It's just in front of an Orion now. I have leaks, but I think they come mostly from the SM465. Before when I had the 3 speed T-case I would get some oil transfer between the trans and T-case. I'm pretty sure I put a new...

    Need suggestions for non-working clutch

It's been a really long time since I had that setup, but I don't remember a seal there. There isn't a good surface to seal to on the shaft. The ID or OD fit of the bearing could be the leak path.

Not much wheelin lately, but hope to change that with cooler weather. The sandrail then classic mustang has soaked up the time. So Cruiser has been on the bench.
