1991 LC80 barely moves under own power

Thanks man. The truck was bought at auction unfortunately, so history is limited. Bad fuel is def a possibility. Air filter looks good. I am wondering about fuel pressure. maybe a bad pump or regulator?

1991 LC80 barely moves under own power

Hey Guys! Well I bought a 1991 LC80 last month site unseen. ;) It has 250k on it and "looks" great. How ever when the flat bed rolled up, the LC started and idled decent but would not pull itself off the trailer. It will rev up to 2000rpm in neutral if I go very slowly on the accelerator. Looks...

    Drivers front window clips

Hey guys, My 98 LX470 has broken both window clips on the bottom of the glass. The ones that attach the glass to the regulator channel/bar (?) I have no idea where to find them online and the guys at the dealership didn't have a clue what I was talking about on the phone. Anyone know where or...

    LX470 AHC Stiff Ride Correction

I also forgot to mention, my "comfort" setting does not feel any different than my "sport". Any ideas? Techstream shows that the switch is communicating with the ecu. Or at least with techstream.

    LX470 AHC Stiff Ride Correction

Right now I still have my 245/16/16 BFG Radial Long Trail T/As on it. They say "standard load" on the side of them? Does that sound right? I was waiting to get the ride figured out before throwing in another variable.

    LX470 AHC Stiff Ride Correction

Hey Guys, thought I would give you and update. So it rode much better at #3, so I thought maybe I could turn the TB 2 more times and see how that rode. 4. Rear Spacers AND previous TB twist plus 2 more TB turns Front 6.2mpa Rear 6.3mpa Accumulator 10.4mpa -This was worse, felt like a TB...

    LX470 Headlight Bulb Upgrade- Pics

Hey Guys, Thought I would share this quick upgrade to the low beams. I bought this 1999 LX a couple months ago and have been disappointed with the low beam headlight output. The high beams are fine, but the lows suck. I have terrible night vision so I needed a quick upgrade. I did a lot of...

    LX470 AHC Stiff Ride Correction

Thanks for all the advice and knowledge guys! Alrighty... 30mm spacer came in and I installed them in about 1.5 hours. It was a bit tricky to get them in there since I did not remove the entire springs, just dropped it a bunch. 1. Jacked up one side of the axle 2. Put a tall jack stand under...

    LX470 AHC Stiff Ride Correction

I like your avatar. Yes, I read the entire thread. "the rear rides nicely, but is definitely more firm. It not harsh though." This is compared to his ride with a rear pressure of 7.1mpa before the springs. I am hoping for a more cushy ride and I do not plan to add any weight as he does. "Once...
