It's been a long time for me to return to the Forum. Glad to be back. and I searched first before posting.
Anyway, my son was using my 2007 during high school and I have it back now that he left for the Navy. I was doing a "systems check" to see what he did to the poor thing. I was on...
I'm looking for serviceable tires for my cabin S10 Blazer. Anything for a 15" wheel from 31" max down to 235X75R15. Need 4 of them. 50-30% tread for a few hundred bucks max. Located in Lemoore. seven-oh-seven-71nine two.
Please call or email me. Don't check the board very often.
I'm cruiser-less but enjoying the transition to motorcycles. The 40 funded a new Suzuki V-Storm adventure bike for the highway/commute and an 83 Honda XL600R dual sport for mountain trails. Looking forward to riding Bald Mountain this Spring with my son riding his Kawasaki behind me...
Looks like a 40 owner from Hanford (who I don't know...thought I knew all the locals) named Matt is picking it up today so it's no longer available. Would have enjoyed seeing you Mark. Send me a message the next time your in town or the area, happy to meet up for lunch or dinner.
I have a free tow bar that attaches to welded on bumper "L" brackets that was off of my 40. I have seen this same bar on other 40s so may have been an option or Toyota part or just popular in the late 60s and 70s? I do not have the bumper brackets as they were welded to the bumper when I sold...
It was collecting dust. Paying of the new V-storm, some bills, and banking some was well worth it. It went to a good guy and it's all set up to wheel hard. Did all the hard work (which was all the fun even with the blood and cussing). Cruisers fetch a pretty penny these days.
Thanks Donal. Pass the word around at work for me.
I'm moving more towards bikes. Bought my son a dirt bike and a dual sport 83 Honda xl600r for me for trails and forest riding. I've been riding my bike a lot to work on the road so it makes sense to buy a new bike for the road and the...
Those are great! Expensive for sure. I have decided to sell my 40 and buy a new Vstrom. Will be posting it in the for sale section this weekend. Hopefully will get around $8,000 to pay for a new bike. Might have a few grand to make up but payments will be around 40 a month. Doable.
