    TWT -- the wrenching thread

Well seems instead of anything being wrong with the 80 I’m just blind. Was looking around for vacuum leaks when I saw the bottom spark plug wire had come loose from the distributor cap. Plugged it back in and she’s running good as new. Thanks everyone for the help though!

    TWT -- the wrenching thread

Oh I guess I’ve been reading old threads. Would the dealership be the best place to get them?

    TWT -- the wrenching thread

Haven’t noticed that but I’ll check. Is the best place to get oem stuff from CDan? Or should I check the dealer in the interest of time cause I’d like to get it fixed as soon as I can

    TWT -- the wrenching thread

Need some help with a problem My 80 started shuddering pretty violently yesterday out of nowhere. I was just driving down the road and hit the gas and it just started shaking. It does it even when it’s parked and definitely gets worse as I give it gas . Accelerating from a stop is really bad...

Looking for 80 and wanted opinions on one that is local.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I just need to defend my 80

Looking for 80 and wanted opinions on one that is local.

I spent 12k on mine and I think it was more than worth it. It has that much into it in mods alone and is very clean inside and out. I however plan on keeping this for a very very long time so resale value isn’t something I’m really worried about. I genuinely don’t think I could’ve found a better...

I’m gonna go against everyone else and say don’t let the salvage title scare you away. I would talk with the owner and get the story as to why it’s salvaged and get pictures of whatever damage was done, and if it’s nothing with lasting impacts than you’re totally good. I bought a salvaged...

    TWT -- the wrenching thread

That’s what I figured. I’m gonna try and pry it back into place but if that doesn’t work I have a couple buddies with welders so I guess that’s my only other option. Some day I’ll 3 link it. As a broke 18 year old that however is not an option at the moment haha

    TWT -- the wrenching thread

Anyone have any idea how I’d go about fixing this? I smashed it on a rock and Uwharrie and it stops the control arm from moving down at all. Not experienced with metal stuff and it’s pretty thick so can’t be hammered out. Any help would be awesome

    Spongy brakes

We thought about that after we had already bought the new line, but I’ll definitely remember that for the future. @roadstr6 Im not sure whether or not the soft line is longer than factory but it doesn’t look like it’d be too short u see full flex. Also , the brakes were fine up until the...

    Spongy brakes

After a full day wheeling at Uwharrie with no problems, I was driving on the gravel road back to the campsite, and I snapped the last hard brake line before the caliper (photo below). I made it back to the site, and the next day I put on a new line and after bleeding all the brakes twice...
