Interior face lift; cleaning up the cruiser!

Fake wood, but it looks great. They dont make that one in real wood. I really looked at it carefully before sticking it on so that it would look like factory and not cheesy. Just take your time and pre fit the parts so that it is almost perfect and it will come out great.

Thanks for the comments, The wood trim kit info is in the post. I checked the radiator and got it flushed and filled with the Toyota red antifreeze. Hopefully it will be good for a while. Yes, the Trexxboxes are good. I havent had any others so I cant compare. I just should have waited...

ATF drain plug and washer part number???

I'm draining my ATF by letting the 2.5quarts or so out through the drain plug at the bottom of the pan. I am trying to find the correct washer to put on. I searched the forum, but couldn't find a part number. I probably missed it. Thanks in advance!

Interior face lift; cleaning up the cruiser!

First off thanks everyone for a great forum with loads of tips! A few years back I was looking at the new cruisers out there and the only major difference between the 2016-19 and my 2003 was that the interior was new and upgraded. Didnt want to spend $90k on an interior as mine had only...

How To: Repair Sagging Seat Back Pocket on LC

OK, I just fixed mine and have a few other tips that I didnt read in these posts. (See pics below) The 2 plastic clips on the top of the seat slide in place, so to remove the seat back I pulled outward on the top of the seat and pushed it outward (towards doors) so that the clip would slide...

    New steering wheel installed LX470

The color was dark grey. the onlt other color they have is black. The grey is almost an exact match, one can hardly tell the difference, which was a plus! I'm lovin it. It is like a brand new wheel! The leather is really nice. You decide which areas you want perforated. There is the top...

    New steering wheel installed LX470

    Transfer case washer?

I just drained and filled my transfer case, but used a crush washer 12157-10010, and not an aluminum. Is this OK? Or do I have to do it all over?

    Post your 285/75/18 setup!

I have 285/75/18 Michelin at2 tires, second set on now and they fit stock no mods. Great tires. Even better with new shocks! Someone said you can use the 275/80/18 as well with no mods necessary. Michelin has the “force” tire out in other countries and it looks more aggressive with more...
