Best AT 33’s for light off road, hwy and driving our kids to all their activities on paved roads.

I have the old man emu 2.5 inch lift and I'm running Toyo Open Country AT2s in 295/75/16 which is 33.4" in diameter. Slightly larger than a 285/75/16. I think they look great with the lift. I don't think you even need a lift to run these. A 315 might look better with the 2.5" lift, but the 295s...

Gap size between rear ABS sensors and sensor rotor teeth

Pretty sure this happened to me too. Eventually I got it on snug with the ABS sensor about 1mm from the teeth. Glad you worked it out!

    Survival Knife?

Remember when Tom Hanks was stranded on that island and had to try and knock his tooth out with an ice skate? If he had ANY knife with him, it could have gone better. That being said, I always carry either of these.

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Used the light tester and fuse pulling method to track down a battery drain to the DOME fuse under the hood. Now to find for the actual culprit. From searching, it sounds like the DS door switch might be a good start.

    "new" Yokohama Geolander M/T

For 315/75/16 the stated tread width is 10" and overall width is 12.5. Pretty standard numbers for a 35.

Toyo AT2 315/75/16 "Xtreme" or "non Xtreme"?

For 16" wheels the 295, 305, and 315 sizes are all XT and that's the only way they come. I'm running the 295s. Great tire.

Tire for highway, comfort, and terrain?

The Toyo AT2 is a great tire for the requirements you outlined. The only thing is it is an E load range and is a little bit harder feeling for a DD. Look at the Nitto Terra Grapplers (D load range). They'll do everything the Toyo's do, but with slightly more comfort around town.
