The one on the right appears to be correct.

The flange appears to be pressed on. Moving the flange of the water pump in will cause the fan to contact the harmonic balancer pulley.

Thank you for the heads up! I did not know these fans like to grenade. I am trying to correct a fan belt alignment issue when installing a 1984 2F engine in a 1971 FJ40. I installed the deeper water pump so the fan would clear the 2F harmonic balancer which has an additional fan belt groove...

Why? I have complete short water pump, pulley, fan clutch and plastic fan from a 1984 FJ60, but they will not work with the 1971 fan shroud.

I am looking for a two groove water pump pulley for solid fan (no fan clutch). The two groove pulley is approximately 3" deep. I believe these came on 75-79 FJ40/FJ55 without a clutch fan. Thanks.

Wanting to purchase FJ40 or FJ60 front disc brake conversion parts to convert a 1971 FJ40 from front drum to disc brakes. Looking for everything from the knuckles out. May consider a whole front axle if local. Thanks!

The F intake/exhaust manifolds do not have a plate in between like the 2F engines do. If a plate is added to an F manifold setup, do the mating surfaces need to be machined down to compensate for the thickness of the plate and additional gasket to keep the mounting bolt holes aligned?

I believe the tires fit the rims well.
