I think they are great. They were pretty cheap on amazon, they throw out plenty of light and the contrast is nice. I did order some 9006's for the low beams to try but I say go for the high beams for sure.
It's a nice kit, luckly got it on a 4th of july sale, the rods/tre's are bare metal, I cleaned mine well and then sprayed them black then hit with clear. I had to run a tap down one of the ends fyi, also there are no wrench flats to use as a counter hold when tightening the jam nuts so might...
Been enjoying the truck a lot so far, picked up a long block on the cheap as a base to do a full engine build. Started taking it apart and was curious on what the piston and rod weights were and man was I surprised, rods came in right around 900 grams and around 780 for the pistons :oops: o_O...
Not 315's but just for some sort of gauge.. my 295/70/17's are advertised as having a 33.5 overall diameter and when not mounted i would agree but with 38-40 psi and weight on them I am measuring around 32.5" i have around 1000-1500 miles on em so far and i am very satisfied with the quietness...
