un-frikkin believable.
I switched those two hoses going into the top of the charcoal canister, took it for a ride of a few miles and noticed and the smell is 90 percent gone.
genius. Thanks for the help.
Next... prolly got to replace the windshield if I can't get an inspection sticker...
That worked, huh? I'm going to give that a try when I get home from work today. (Switching the two hoses) That looks easiest so I'll try it first.
I'm near Boston. Go figure. lol
Yep. Found it with no prob.
I guess that's not the issue.
I have a strong odor of gas or burned gas fumes or something coming from underneath the hood. It's not right. It eventually fills the entire truck when driving down the road. I have full power so it's not an exhaust leak I...
My first 60
At the risk of sounding like I haven't a clue.. can someone tell me where the location is of the charcoal cannister?
Pic maybe?
There is an overwhelming smell under the hood. It's too much when I drive then lingers when I turn it off. I'm thinking maybe it's a rotted hose...
Well... I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed that the thing came with new tires. If I get ambituous I'll offer them for sale and buy something else.

Somehow I think the resonant frequency screwed up my radio and maybe somehow shorted out or blanked out my lights.
I'm hoping the lights will...
Here is a good one.
My headlights are out. High beams work but no low beams. They both went out at the same time which is unusual. Something is up.
Back story:
The muffler on my FJ62 developed a hole. It is currently being replaced but during the time I was running the truck for a...
Update....
Turns out you were dead on Cruiser88.
It was that harness in the drivers side rear quarter.
Water from the bad weather over the years got in and corroded the connections.
No fuel.
Great feedback.
Well...My turn signals are not working anywhere (flashers are good) and the vehicle keeps stalling after startup (methinks I need an FPR) but after seeing this heavy gage loose wire...I was hoping that was the root of all my problems. I just couldn't figure out where it would all tie in...
