Edit: FJ62 Stolen in Portland, OR - FOUND!

I live in the Portland area as well and after seeing a few stolen Land Cruiser threads I decided to get one of these. I've been testing it out in my Corolla as my Cruiser is getting a cooling overhaul but so far I've been happy. You can set it to where it tracks every second, 10 sec, 15, 1...

FJ60 sound proofing and carpet install

I think it was about 80 Squarefeet. 60 Sqaurefeet should be plenty if you're just doing the floors.

I've heard good things about Lee Power Steering for steering box rebuilding. Not sure about any rebuild kits.

FJ60 LED Light Bulb List (Interior and Exterior)

I think you might have to modify the relay from superbrightLEDs to fit but maybe someone can chime in to confirm. Below is a relay that should fit direct. https://www.oddironoffroad.com/store#!/LED-Flasher/p/75753835/category=23176018

FJ60 LED Light Bulb List (Interior and Exterior)

I believe the same bulbs are used for the license plate lights. That's why they are on there twice. 1 set for reverse, the other set for the license plate

Advice on whether I should buy a Land Cruiser

Do you have the space to work on the vehicle? In my opinion these trucks are very easy to work on as I myself started as a beginner and have learned alot working on my 60. I personally would get a 60 series as the 62 seems to be more expensive and driving manual is more fun. If I were in your...

FJ60 LED Light Bulb List (Interior and Exterior)

The 194 bulbs are the interior as well as the 74-cw. If you go to superbright led.com it should give you some info on the bulbs you're looking for. I can't remember exactly where each bulb goes as I just removed and replaced one by one.

Land Cruiser painter in Western Oregon/Southwest Washington

How bad is the paint currently? There's nothing wrong with a patina look in my opinion- gives the truck some character!

FJ60 sound proofing and carpet install

I wanted to do lizard skin but just didn't have the room or tools to do it. I've heard nothing but great things about lizard skin and is probably the best way to go if you have the tools to do so! Also good point on the door seals as this is one of the next things I would like to do

FJ60 sound proofing and carpet install

In my opinion I believe it is when you consider price and results. Like others have said, I think this project is a great investment in both time in money. You get to inspect the floorboard and freshen up the interior to make the cruiser more comfortable. Whether you do lizard skin, MLV...

I just swapped out all of my old light bulbs in my 1986 FJ60 Landcruiser for some LEDs from Superbrightleds.com. Instead of writing up an excel sheet list here's a shared cart with everything I got that you'll need...

Yeah trans hump and wheel wells will be the most important to cover in my opinion. Next would be the doors and rear quarters.

Here's some more inspirational photos. I saw this thread a few months ago and got some inspiration to do this to my own cruiser. 1. stripped out interior 2. removed oe sound deadener (tip: use computer air duster cans - don't shake, turn upside down, spray on, then shatter with rubber hammer...

Personally I would - I mean, you already have everything out and I find it's better go overboard and do it once than redoing it again later.
