First ever post !! Abs pump and accumulator bleeding.

Bleeding the accumulator? If the N2 charge is gone, bleeding won't help it come back.

First ever post !! Abs pump and accumulator bleeding.

I think the brake issue on LC-100's is covered on other threads. I've experienced total brake failure several times on my 98 LC which I recovered from by pumping furiously. I changed the pump and rebuilt the MC, but it turned out to be the accumulator. Try changing that. If it won't hold...

    Ultimate Rust / Undercarriage Thread

Has anyone tried an oil-based rust treatment like NH Undercoating? Claims to convert rust and bind with the underlying steel. Apply every couple years and you're good to go. I like the concept... https://nhoilundercoating.com

TJM T17 bumper with fogs instead of indicators

I took the left bracket off the solenoid pack then tried to tie it down si it wasn't over the rope drum. When off-roading you need access to the drum to sort out build up problems

Aircon fully gassed won't work !!!

Cooling happens when the liquid refrigerant from the condenser goes through the expansion valve (3>4) and into the evaporator (4-1). Not sure where the XV is on an LC but there should be a noticeable difference there. As it travels throught the evaporator the liquid turns to gas. This is where...

Battery light on - what could cause it

Could be a drain somewhere. Disconnect a battery pole and test with ammeter. If you see 0.1 amps thats 1.2 watts per hour your battery is draining at. If you have a 600 Amp hour battery you should have 6000 hours before it's dead or roughly 6 months.

What is this and can I remove it...

Removing it will affect your safety and high speed stability man! Like a wise man once said there's only two levers you need to know around here... Lever A and Lever f***ing B.

TJM T17 Bumper is coming Back!

With a little experience I used spacers to maintain spacing on the wings under the fender next to the wheel well then wedge the bumper up to level on the front. When in position insert the 4 big bolts and tighten either side as required to get it centred. Cna also add spacers but I just...

    Here’s my 06 LX

I just love those thin wall plastic roof racks on the LX. So much lighter than the longer and beefy extruded aluminum racks on the LCs. And the softer suspension is much nicer when the going gets rough!

Quality LED Rear brake light Assy for 100 series - Thoughts? Pics?

top half of tailgate looks ok. What type of bumper? I put a kit on mine. Back bar was bent previously in a collision so had to bang it back for the Coastal Offroad kit would fit.

Newbie question..Cheaper to repair/maintain?? LC or LX?

The roof rack on the LX is useless plastic trim vs the LC extruded aluminum. The side steps and trim are also pointless. The older LC-100s just seem purpose built but the LX is for posers. (currently armouring my new 06 LX so noticing how useless a lot of the crap on them is).

    Frame Rust Repair Options

Has anyone had any experience with this oil-based rust retardant....? I've always been told that just spraying engine on oil on rust (once a year?) is a good cheap rust-stop, but this product claims to have additives to stop it cold and bond to the bare metal below the rust...
