Anybody with experience doing a PowersteeringCooler Upgrade? I saw a nice LC200 specific one out of Australia. Lots of Universal, and Dorman clone.
Mine is pretty corroded and looks like it will be a P.P.O.F. (Potential Point of Failure), I think I would like to get it done and change the...
Hey Mud,
I currently have hydro assist setup on my truck using the Wits End's powersteering oil cooler setup. I pieced together my own kit since Joey was out of stock so I am running the Summit Racing's oil cooler (link below). So far, I've had some bad luck with two of the coolers. They are...
Selling the powersteering gear box off of my 1984 FJ60. It works great and includes the cover for the u-joint. I can include the powersteeringcooler and lines if you want them.
$400 obo
Willing to ship

Something to note - I didn't run a powersteeringcooler on UZJ. I did run a transmission cooler, but it was high above the rear axle with a dedicated fan on it.
Won a couple items at solid axle summit, but they won't fit my setup(s). Looking to trade for other parts or sell to buy other fj40 parts.
Selling:
- Tuffy locking console with mounting bracket for 73-79 fj40. (New in box)
- Fusable link replacement kit for FJ60 from cruiser trash. (New in...
have you looked at it from above? There aren't engine accessories on the driver's side but certainly radiator, transcooler, powersteeringcooler are all in that neighborhood
I just started to replace the leaking powersteering pump on my 96 along with the pressure line hose and larger reservoir hose.
I didn't think of replacing the two powersteeringcooler line hoses (10mm I think)
I know they are at the 25 year mark which makes them pretty old. Can they last...
