the wheels came on the HJ60 when I bought it. They are an aftermarket alloy (don't know who made them) in 15x8 with about 3.75" back spacing. I needed to run minimum 1/4" spacers to clear the tie rod ends. They were originally painted silver, but the 4 mounted wheels were starting to peel a little, so I sanded them down and painted them with semi-flat black dupli-color enamel. The 5th spare wheel, is still silver and in great shape. I have never even mounted it.
- Tires -
The tires on the 4 black wheels are BFG M/T KM's size 33x12.5-15. The spare has a 31x10.5-15 AT. I can't recall the make of the tire, but it's never been used, at least not by me. I bought the MTs new a couple years ago and I don't know the exact mileage, but they tires have about 50% tread and pretty even wear. They have trail scars, but have never been punctured to patched to my knowledge. I took it to a shop once over a year ago because of a leak and they said it was just a dirty bead. After cleaning it up a remounting it was fine. Recently another one has developed a slow leak needing about 15lbs every 1-2 weeks. There are no signs of a puncture that I can see so I suspect it may be the bead again or a bad stem. The tires could probably use a balance as well.
In summary, they aren't perfect but are great wheels and tires for a wheeler. The wheels are pretty unique and I actually really like the look especially since I painting them. I don't wheel like I used to, and have gone to some less aggressive AT's. I forgot to get a pic of the spare which is being stored above the garage, but I can dig it out if you want one.
