rear tuffy drawer (1 Viewer)

Has anyone out there fitted a Tuffy security drawer in the back of their 40 ? If so what part number ? Pictures ?

You should be in good shape using either the Tuffy 063-01 or the 058-01 Security Drawers. Since a 40 is always subject to modifications, I always recommend that you take some measurements just in case something's changed! You can see the dimensions here:

I don't see the rear door latch . Does the drawer sit high enough to clear the botto, door latch ?

I put small spacers under the box, just 1/4" aluminium flat stock to get it to sit level. It sits far enough in the cruiser that the handle on the box does not touch my back doors. With the bach doors closed and latched nothing touches and there is about an inch of space. the back of the box sits right about where the floor in the back angles downward at the front of the rear wheel well.

Thanks I ordered the 8" drawer with the 1" risers. I will post up pictures whe I get it in.
