Finally finished the drivers side door and hung it position. Still need to do the main door weatherstrip on both sides, not looking forward to that…

Thanks @Tanker120 for the new quarter window!

If you are not already aware use the Cyanoacrylate IC-2000 adhesive. You can purchase it from Bob Smith Industries or Cruiser corps. Total game changer, makes the weatherstripping job easy. Don’t waste your time with the 3M black weatherstrip adhesive for EDPM rubber. I’ve used that on multiple vehicles with sufficient prep and have always had adhesion issues long term.

Figured I'd list all the parts I used on the door rebuilds, in case anyone was looking. I did not replace my window regulators as they were still operable.

This post is gold!

I need to do the same treatment on my '69. The biggest gripe I have with my early doors is the loose rattling interior door handles.

Thanks for sharing all the info.

Lucked out on how great of condition these jump seats are! Minor flaking and surface rust at some of the welded joints. Already have the corral seat covers, new foam is on order.

Big question is keep the frames patina and polish them up, or get them redone. Hmmm. 🤔

Haven’t gotten to the jump seats yet, but picked up my heater box and blower motor assembly from @Tanker120 . His attention to detail and rebuild process is amazing. OEM NLA hoses to boot. Thanks!

So of course I installed them. I’ll get the heater lines run at some point. 🤔

Started in on the jump seats. Decided to leave them patina for now and just converted whatever rust is on them. Test fit inside the cab. Cut 8 new pieces of upholstery foam, need some adhesive to attach the pieces together. Replaced the bumpers and twist knobs. I’ve got the Coral covers waiting to go on now.

Finally had some free time to dive into the jump seats. Started with the passengers side, got 3/4 done with the back pad and realized the bottom fold over flap was too wide. Looked at the other thinking I installed the wrong one, but it was the same. 🤔 Pulled out the original covers and they’re different.

The vertical supports of the jump seats are different widths from passengers to drivers side. I would think @Cruiser Corps would know this since they market a 72-73 cover.

Moved on to the drivers side, everything fit perfectly.

Anyone else have to deal with this? I’ll contact Cruiser Corps and see what they say.

Keep us posted. I used their set on my 1970 and thought the fit was average at best. Don’t plan on ordering them for my 1973

I guess I’ll update with a few pictures. Wrapped up the brake re-fresh with a new master, booster and center soft line. Everything is working great now. Installed the OEM soft top bows. Just enjoying driving it now. Next up will be Headers/exhaust, and valve seal replacement.

Nice looking cruiser. Where did you get the Bows? I really want to get a set for mine with soft top. Great look!

Thanks. The bows were just a “right place right time” scenario locally.
