Very nice work Sean. Curious what you did to the roof to accommodate the 3” stretch. Did you shorten the bed accordingly too?

The 45 roof, as well as other 4Xseries, changes it's angle just past the rear of the door and continues in a straighter line. The roof was lengthened 3" here with lap joints on both sides of the "filler'. The gutter was produced using a break and welded in.
The bed is a later '64, when the removable top was introduced, so no modifications to the bed were necessary. other than new corners, a sill replacement for the early taillights and 16 gauge backing plates (mainly to support the spare tire carrier).
