Installed the hood support setup from cruiser head @ChaserFJ60

Simple install. My seam sealant (as noted in his instructions on the 62’s) was so thick i had to scrape it and re-apply a small bead both before I mounted the bracket and then a second bead to the bracket. I am terrible at this so I already know it’s ugly. I used tape as a mark but then decided a dry erase marker was even better and traced the entire outline of the hood mount.

Beautiful work and love the progression. Taking notes. The TRD wheels are a nice touch. Are you running spacers in the back?

A total blend of perfection. I know you’ll probably go back to the bull bar and aftermkt. rear bumper but I’m just imagining a pair of chrome ”stockies” to really make this dark beauty “pop”. Either way, off or daily on road, it‘s a great build…enjoy the ride!

Nah those were on it when I bought this I gave them away and have brand new original bumpers in my garage just waiting on the hardware kit to arrive then they will be going on asap

Installed new stainless steel battery tray…i also have all new battery terminals and cables from @ToyotaMatt but will wait until the next time my oil filter is removed to have easier access to the negative connection on the engine.

Man…I had a terrible vibration that would rattle the whole car and worsen at highway speeds

Had a shop rebuild and rebalanced the front drive shaft and u joints, replaced both pinion seals and both transfer case seals and serviced both pinions and the TC with new oil

Significant difference drives like a completely different truck
