Searched for this, but with no conclusive answers. Have you all @Racer65 been gluing this seal when installing? Thanks

I had a first gen Bronco and the roof just set flat on the top of the windshield frame and driving in the rain that was one of places you got wet from.
This top has been a pain to take apart and I’m sure will be doubly so putting it back together, but you can see how well built it is (like other aspects of the truck) relative to other peer trucks of the day.
 
The 71 FJ40 I recently purchased had no seal at all between the front windshield frame and the MPR hardtop. I guess the previous owner drove it only on sunny days. I didn't want to remove the roof to put a new seal in so I searched Amazon for a gasket that I could install with the top on (Link to seal). I used a water based gel to make the process easier and it went in without a hitch. May not be "stock" but it worked out great.
