I cant leave well enough alone, so I picked up @prharper Reef drawers and Alu-cab tilt slide ( funny enough I also bought my truck vault drawer from him too) some modification but I'm getting them how I want. Still need to redo the wings on it. @afgman786 came up yesterday and is now sporting the truckvault orvis drawers in the broverland 200

Do you even broverland? Took everything out of the plano boxes and organized them in the drawers. There's even a bourbon section. Just wide enough to fit bottled without rolling around

Much better!

That's a pretty cool set up. I just rode around with a pint of Johnny Walker black in a paper bag in my console last time we went up to Flagpole....I feel so ghetto....
You don't keep it in a CamelBak like me?

I’ve got my auxiliary battery done except for the solar wires. Was going to use an AGM battery I had but after test fitting it, it was way too heavy and awkward to mount in front of the rear tire under the bed. So I spent the money on 123 amp hour LifePo4.

Installed a wagon 25A DC to DC with solar MPPT charger.

Fabricated a mount To mounted the battery in front of the passenger rear tire under the bed, where there is just enough wasted space to fit the battery. Installed a 30 amp fuse and disconnect to remove the battery when needed. Here is the original AGM battery I was going to use. 80lbs vs 30lbs for the LifePo4

Ran wires from the charge controller terminal block up into the bed mounted a fuse, panel and installed 3 duel auxiliary power outlets to charge cell phones and for my CPAP when camping.

Still need to tidy wires up but all in all very happy how this turned out

You could make a kit for that setup and make a bit of cash from it i am sure... that is a great way to use other wise wasted space

Nice work! I think I got this kit at Harbor Freight if you're looking for different sizes of wire tie downs.

Just a reminder that you’re always 1 broken bolt away from a 2 hour job turning into a week long ordeal. I broke one of the aluminum stretch bolts on the caliper for the LS430. After some research in the LS430 groups it didn’t seem like drilling it out was worth the effort or potential complications, so I went the recommended route and ordered a used knuckle for $125 shipped. That took a week to be delivered and while I waited I used the torch and PB blaster on the other problematic bolt on the other side of the car. Heat, a turn or two until it would seize again, and then PB blaster sitting over night. There was no rush considering I was waiting on the knuckle shipment and I eventually got the other bolt out.

Went for a quick ride to Taskers gap this AM and went 100 yards into the trail from the north and found a jeep guy having hjeep problems.
The spring was held in by one bolt and popped out.
Got him back to the parking lot and he said he would just drive it all the way home to Arlington rather than fix it there.

I have Thought about that.

I have Thought about that.
Or at least a detailed how too instruction guide with parts and all that...
I really think it is a cool idea and place for it that most people would have not thought of!

Well hat my Timing Belt and water pump done last week and when my mechanic went to take the Front skid plate off he had to torch it because the bolts were all smashed flat.
Also when he got them burned off the plate had seen so much abuse that it was torqued and out of shape it sprung back and he said he almost got knocked out by it!!
It did its job though and no damage to anything under it so yay!

Got the skid used 4 years ago for $120... It has seen hard hits at the Cove x3, Rauch Creek x5, Uwharie x2 and other trails. It is from ASFIR 4x4 in Israel and is 1/4" Aluminium. I wanted to keep the weight down and these are 1/3 to 1/2 of most steel ones and save as much mileage as possible since it is still my daily.

New skids have been ordered.... same one... I figure that if it last this long with my abuse and that of the other owner and that I am not trying to go crazy it should last me another 5 years on this set if not more.

Here is the dead solider .....
