How's wind noise on the front runner rack without the fairing?

I have had the small wind deflector from Front Runner on it since I installed the rack, and the noise is not bad at all. You can barely hear it at highway speeds, and no whistling at all.

Although you can kinda see in these. It just goes as far back as the factory plastic piece in the back. The one that has the oil drain plug cover
