Rebuild or EFI? Intro also (1 Viewer)

New here, so wanted to introduce myself (hope I'm doing this right???). Also wanted to ask any opinions on rebuilding carb I have on 2F or installing EFI (Sniper) on my 1978 FJ40? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

More information on your rig and intended use would be helpful.
A couple pictures of your truck and engine bay would help you get better informed responses.

1. What is your current carb?
2. What are the symptoms of your current carb that may warrant a rebuild?
3. Have you verified that your engine is tuned up properly? (Minus the carb of course)
[Plugs, timing, disty, vac leaks, valve adjustment, etc...]
