1982 FJ40 in amazing shape, runs great with just over 150k original miles. Has been regularly driven spring through fall. Transmission and transfer case rebuilt by professional mechanic. 2F engine is all original. Power steering. Well taken care of, professionally repainted with glass out body off restoration a few years ago. If ad is up it is available. Price is firm, no trades. Test drives with cash. Clean title in hand. Comes with a bikini top and color matched bolt on tailgate (which I painted). Half-doors pictured below have been sold. Floors are solid. No rust other than a bit on the leaf springs. New Falken Wildpeak tires. Tons of receipts. Real Steel quarter, rocker and floors installed professionally. Happy to do a Zoom/video call for any interested buyer.

New bushings, shocks, tires, from brakes, pads and rotors. All new brake lines, oem dashpad, muffler and pipes, bolts, bushings, body bushings, windshield, all rubber seals (windshield, windows and doors) master cylinder, carb, seat covers, tie rods/ends axle seals turn signals, emblems, gas tank, hoses, headliner bluetooth (hidden) stereo, falken wildpeak tires, city racer carb (original included with sale), smog delete by PO (have box of smog parts that are included), new oem bumpers, half tailgate (color matched) and bikini top. Runs, starts, stops and drives really well. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of stuff. It also has the tranny to transfer bypass hose, although there is no leak (just done as a preventative).

No rust, other than a bit of surface rust on the leaf springs and a tiny amount of surface rust on frame bottom (see pics). I purchased this from the second owner that owned since the mid 80's. He was in congestive heart failure and wanted to get this sold before he died so his wife would not sell it to someone that didn't love LCs. Other than some basic mechanical (axle seals, brakes, carb) all work was done by a professional mechanic and a professional auto body company.

Sold.

After pausing the listing due to unexpected work/travel, I am putting this back on the market. Reach out to me if you have any questions or want to do a video call to see it in more detail.

What happened to the carb cooling fan?

PO took it off. I have it and tested it works and is included. Also included is the original carb (needs rebuild) a warn winch (also works) and a few other extras. Just never put the cooling fan back as I've never had restart/boiling gas issues.
