Installed the pocket doors and finished the wiring as the interior siding was added.

Finished the ceiling with the same Deador Cedar.

We all signed the Top Beam of the roof.

Local contractor added the metal roof.
The siding will be installed after we install a porch around 3 sides of the cabin. That is a 2022 project.

Sceptic is installed. All plumbing, gas and electrical is dialed in.

Had a great group of friends that I realized I do not spend enough time with.

Very cool to see that series of pictures. I really like the scissor rafters, man that would take me a time or two to get those angles cut just right. Love seeing the redwood making its way up there and being used.

He should be able to get enough beetle killed spruce to keep that mill happy.

I first called Woodmizer and ordered a LT-15 wide as I’ve got a few trees over 32” to mill. The problem is turning a log that big. Ended up going with the LT-35 hydraulic.

The siding, flooring and installation of the epoxy pour door was done during the next visit.

In July of this year we are hoping to install a full wrap around deck.

In Nov of 2022 we began the planning and milling lumber to build a cabin on the Apache Reservation near San Carlos.

One of the elders is in need of a permanent residence.
