The morning sunrise is precious. Simple things. Need to be thankful for each day.

New best tool. Chief needle scaler. Was prepping a rear 80 axle for my fj140 build. It had mud and crust in nooks and crannies a wire wheel would never get. This went where the sun don’t shine. Did an amazing job in short order. Loving it!!!

It is spring time at the elf barn. Cut some brush. Did some cruiser work. It’s nice outside. Got Lonestar’s pool out. He is gonna need it for the upcoming hot days. He is a dunker after a fetch.

Love that place! Is there still an old guy cutting sample meats for you as you get up to the counter?
Not any more. $/lb is gold. It is a losing proposition today😁

Love the "solution swing"! Got a problem you can't quite get a handle on .... the answer is waiting for you in the swing! I had a comfy old office chair right by the wood stove when I worked in Maine. Stumped, just got stoke the fire and sit a second......always worked.

We have a recliner in the shop that we call “The Chair of Despair”.

Getting little warm up here in Oklahoma for those with fur coats, we too pulled out the pool!

Muellers is good stuff, if you get chance travel to Snow’s BBQ. I wonder if Tootsie stil cooking every Saturday? Think 2017 when we ate there and they had just been announced as number one in state. Free Lone Star beer at 8:30 in morning, it just felt right!

Fuel pump failed in my tundra. Original pump did 290k miles. Can’t complain. It failed at the house and which was a plus. Gave me ample warning. Surging at higher rpms. Took some digging to find one. Back ordered. Dropped the tank and put whole new assembly in. Feels like another 20hp added.

In other news, neighbors cow birthed an hour before I took this pic. Calf already standing and knows where to get food. A first sight of this for me. Very humbling.

Been chipping away at my FJ140 build. Axles are rebuilt and just got TEQ shocks in from back order. Updates will be on build thread.

We had @Cowboy45 in the barn after a long hiatus. He put in a new fuel sender on :princess: 100 series. She has been a sport trying to track fuel inventory using trip mileage. She has had some anxious moments. @Cowboy45 knocked it out for her.
