If anyone has some measurements for where to put the 3 speed shifter hole and how big it is that would be much appreciated.
I just threw the drawing on the pic to help illustrate what would be helpful.
Had to fill a massive hole cut by the previous owner.

Did you ever fig this out? About to do the same

The hole size I measure at 3 3/4 inch round. I measure 1 3/4 inch distance from front edge of hole to metal seam at crease. The hole appears to be 1/2 inch or so off center to passenger side. I can try to get a little more precise on this, but maybe one of these fellas alot smarter than me will chime in.

that sounds about right. I took measurements off a friends fj40 and got it very close.
