I'm lubricating the front driveshaft on my '93 4-Runner and have a question. I used my grease gun to add grease to the U-joints on the double cardan joint and everything went well. Then I went to add grease to the third zerk fitting for the ball in the middle part of the double cardan joint. The grease just came out big time from the front U-joint area. Is there a steel plug in the double cardan joint like in the U-joint end of the yoke that is missing? Or is there a seal that went bad?
