Yeah I noticed mine prefers the kennel to the front seat. it’s like their brains turn off and any anxiety disappears she could be in the crate all day and I could forget she’s back there

This is Luka, newly adopted purebred Blue Heeler from the local kill shelter. He's been with me going on almost two months and what an amazing companion. Need to work on couple of bad habits, but overall, a great companion for me. This guy hangs with me while I MTB ride, snowshoe, etc. He has amazing self survival skills. Vet thinks he's around 2-2.5 yo.

Super happy in his space in the back of the 80.

Not a good idea to pet him aggressively when he's in his space. He'll let you know gently but firmly.

boy, you ain't lying about that bonding thing. He is my shadow dog, that's for sure. Thankfully he doesn't get on my furnitures, so my GF is "allowed" to cuddle with me
