Finally got my wheels and some 35’s on. Looks so right. Now just a couple more things and I can go wheeling again.

Ahh. I have a cart of things from slee I wanna order to finish up the small things.

Picked up a manual J-shift transfer case and the correct drivelines from the donor vehicle (to make it work), to replace the electronic pushbutton headache system on the Runner. Stay tuned, may go with a manual hub conversion for the ADD on the diff.

What brake lines u have there? I need to do mine.
I copied this from another thread on mud.
These lines are OEM for other Toyota models. Here is what you need:

Part 90947-A2016 for the Right (Passenger) Front
- I gained 2 1/8'' from stock.

Part 96940-34605 for the Left (Driver) Front
- I gained 4 3/8" from stock

Part 96940-34705 for the rear
- I gained 5" from stockI just wanted to document an OEM option for anyone that wants to extend the brake lines.

Did some testing today in bulldog canyon. 850/860 ome, 35’s no bumpstop spacers etc.
looks like a little trim in the rear wheel wells is all I need to Atleast get out. Maybe add the rear bumpstop extension later but she tucks! Couldn’t get the front flexed out enough but looks like it’ll be good too

Tech playing alignment whack-a-mole

Every time he got a green something else went red 😿

Final alignment results. Tech believes that driver side lower control arm damage permanently screwed the cross caster value and is something that won't affect tyre wear. Cop out or valid statement???? - any alignment experts around here?

Not an expert, but I recall hearing that before too. I believe it may cause it to pull one direction while having minimal effect on tire wear.

Castor won't impact tire wear. If the truck drives fine I'd leave it. Castor impacts steering feel more than anything.

Typically you want a little more camber and castor on the passenger side to compensate for the crown in the road. I always set them up as close as I can on both sides with zero issues.

Went on a quick weekend trip to the Santa Rita's with a friend. Saw a range of wildlife and some decent sunsets. They were doing a prescribed burn in areas which limited access but made for some unique photo opportunities!

How it relates to the builds thread: FINALLY, after over a year of waiting, I got my rear bumper and had to take it out and break it in. This was also the first trip with my recently installed Wit's End Power Steering Cooler Upgrade, RedHead rebuilt steering gear box, 105 Series Pitman Arm & Shaft, and Dobinson's adjustable steering stabilizer. Happy to report back that everything ran flawlessly.

Well, does it count if I just look at it...... Starting in May, I need to change the radiator and replace various gaskets. Time to get intimate with the 80. View attachment 3290242
Nice rig! Abigail organized a trail run for next weekend if you want to get out before tearing into it.

After and before. put in some 30mm front spacers. I like a level truck and don’t run a lot of weight.
Also adjusted the bumper so it fits tighter and the skid sits better. Pics of that tomorrow
