Exactly right, there is more droop just like in one of those photos above, where the shock can just hang.

At that point my brake shield is touching the ground though!
Nails on chalkboard territory but ill make an attempt.

I should be able to make it work without too much trouble. Cant go outside though driveway is super sloped unfortunately. Neither jack nor jack stands stand a chance, no pun intended!
Can’t you shim your jack up? I use a couple lengths of 4x12 i scavenged off a job site.

The garage opener latch peg would poke through the roof of the truck! Im tucked in tight.

The driveway is the way my friend. Those are an hour long install tops.

19mm flex fits perf through rear.
Part is precise AF.

Btw @grinchy remember this wont affect ride height. Just increase stroke.

Now we are at the part where i need to purge the shock to better manhandle it into place.

Maybe the ONLY change i would think would be a little bevel here to help guid the shock bolt, but with ahc purged and a firm grip on the shock, i can manually move in place to line up. So its really a non issue.

A heads up:
The cat guards are not compatible with the '16+ LX, due to the e- parking brake motor bracket and a line being in the way.
You can remove the protection plate, and tie up the line but I will instead cut a portion of the guards as that bracket is deterrent enough the way it fits together.
