Does the 63201-60024 fit a 1997?

Is the difference between 60024 and 60023 the slide cover's headliner color? Mine's tan.

As far as fitment I have no idea. I have never encountered 60024 and I can't find anything on that number.
As far as trim is concerned the glass does not come with it. You need to transfer or replace it as required. You won't find tan anymore. Grey only and paint as required.

If not for SNLC's 60024 pic, I wouldn't have believed it existed. If 63201-60024 fits all 95-97s, I anoint him as an 80 series parts whisperer.

And totally agree about the fuzzy headliner. It attracts LA soot like no other.

There is nothing different about the sunroof glass from a 93-97, LX or 80 doesn’t matter either. The glass is green not bronze like every USA 80 I have seen. So if you don’t mind green sunroof glass (non-US) order one up. You want the good parts and what is left for an 80-series, take a risk once in awhile? ‍♂ How do you think we find these parts? It is not by giving a vin# to the local dealership or being spoon fed by soandso. Do some leg work, figure it out and order the parts.

This is a “build thread”, it is not a parts thread. Yes some folks like to put all kind of part numbers and info in their build threads, hey cool it’s their build thread. Your lack of respect for my requests in this thread is now beyond annoying and is making me not want to share much at all. I can just as easily send the pics (which I do) to the owner and not post anything here. Why do you think so many shops on this forum do not do build threads?

If you don’t want some highly esoteric discussion around the very content you willingly share then don’t click the little button on a thread based forum without consideration for some organic banter.

This build thread isn’t a “party”.

We will see if I feel like keeping this thread up to date. Probably just spam pics when the truck is done since I am over it now.

Oh and you could have just as easily started your own thread about sunroofs and part numbers which I would have been more than happy to provide info in that thread.

What you and others perhaps don’t realize is I spoon feed people info in PMs often. Even when they don’t want to listen. That doesn’t clutter a build thread just my inbox.

@SNLC I'd like to suggest a workaround, given the thread is now what it is, and whoever may be happy (or unhappy) about that. I for one (and I'm sure I have a lot of company on this) do NOT want to see you or others stop posting/updating build threads like this. Like the song says, "I don't wanna miss a thing..."

So, maybe edit the OP with a note saying folks who JUST want to view your posts (which will contain any on-topic, relevant posts you've responded to) click on this link:

Nice looking work!

Are you adding an additional skid over the tank, or is it well enough tucked up in there? Camera angle makes it look exposed, but I have a feeling it's not.

No additional skid planned.

4x4labs is pretty much the highest clearance rear bumper you can get so yes it hangs down a little. I can’t see this Cruiser being drug through the rocks so I don’t think it will be an issue. The tanks can take light hits too.

2/3 rds of the stereo system is done. Still need to do rear upper cargo and sub. I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread but we have retained the OEM head unit and in dash amp. Speakers about the only upgrade for sound system. Obviously retaining stock speaker grills across it all. Already been testing it, it sounds “retro” yet, better.

LRA subtank filler neck took some fab and mods to suit our liking. It just wasn’t sitting in there right with the fresh cap all, cockeyed. Also didn’t line up great for the filler hoses so we modified it and had it powder coated after.
