Guess I got lucky on my powder coat on the Mt sliders. Nonissue here.

That bronco departure angle is legit.

That departure angle is pretty much a requirement given the steep angle of modern tow-truck beds.

Would Metal Tech not help out or work with you? That seems unacceptable to have issues within a year.
I did not reach out to MetalTech. It actually hadn’t occurred to me. They are solid sliders, very strong and I have done rattle can touch-ups on my other trucks in the past… figured I would do the same here.

These things are staying on the truck forever.

I came to make a similar dig on ford build quality but your made a much better quip than I could conjure up. This comes from someone whose pos Ford product has been towed twice in the last 29 days.
