Totally! The old packaging is so cool. All the variations over the years. Like you, I also struggle to toss them. They are fun to keep around as long as it doesn't hamper the space for new parts. hahaha
The tall oil filter boxes make really good holders for pens and pencils on office desks if you put some pea gravel in the bottom of them

Here’s a couple unobtainium bits I want to see:

1. 60 Series ceiling mounted console

2. The little skinny little “map light” thing on the HVAC bezel

I have much want.

mm interesting . I have no idea how nr 2 looks like . Do you have a picture/info ?

Headlight washer jar. 24V
Notice the transition from square to round connector around 84-11.

Nice! Yeah thankfully the round connectors are still obtainable for repairs. Those square ones are an odd duck.

This is probably against what most people of this thread like... but i dont even look for old toyota connectors anymore. If anything breaks now, i just replace it with a Delphi 150 sealed connectors. They are waterproof and lock the wires into the connectors on both sides of the joint. If its a larger gauge and needs a wider pin they have 280 and 480 series connectors with bigger pins. Theyre readily available and really nice.

that would much depend on whether you actively with out any for site or thought of what could and now actually is a reality happening real time live in real time , as a teenager in life (circa. 1988 ) began to start hording small bits of plastic and organizing them in your father's Plano Salt Water Phishing tackle boxes , you made yours without asking because you no longer engaged in spoken work with your parents at all really ,and were under the influence and addicted to a life style called all things IRON MAIDEN JAPAN .... 🤣

An incredible stockpile!

Part no. 87211, an accordion duct used in non-AC 60s.

An example installed behind a cluster of wires. I pulled this one from an early 80s FJ60, an '81 or '82 and plugged it in since I removed the AC from my 60.

Cool! Definitely don't see many of those.

My first 60 series was a rust bucket 1981 FJ60 that had one of those. It wasn't until well after I sold it that I found out how rare they are.
The 81's had a ton of rare goodies:
  • full vinyl flooring, seats and door panels
  • door cards that didn't go over top of the door sill
  • split bench front seat
  • rear hatch glass protector
  • and manual steering

For which market?
