There's a loaner tool thread somewhere, might want to take a look in there. I don't remember if a crank tool was ever mentioned.
 
I have a BF torque wrench if you need it. Goes to 1000 ft/lbs.

Also have 3/4 breaker bar if you need it.
 
I have the OTRAMM tool that is up to be barrowed, and is in the CSC tool loan thread, but it's currently loaned out to @JunkCrzr89 in Colorado.

I do have the torque wrench (mine tops out at 300 ft lbs... which is like 8 ft lbs shy of spec I believe) as well as the two 3/4" drive breaker bars (one huge, one short), that helps for bracing against the frame. You are welcome to those if you need them!
 
Thanks for the replies. I won't be able to start this job just yet so I'll check back in when I'm ready to rock.
 
Our shop has never had any trouble getting that bolt loose with a good 1/2" impact. We secure the starter ring and retorque with a 3/4" torque wtench.

Do you use a 14mm deep socket on the starter ring?
