Hi all -
New to IH8MUD. I sold my firetruck and picked up a 1996 Prado 95-series. The build is now in process.
Thus far:
Stereo - Alpine W650
Lift - Ironman and JBA UCA's
EGR delete
Snorkel
ARB bumper
Winch - Come-up
Sliders - AdventureFab
Wheels and tires - Method and KM3's (255/85r16)
SwitchPros
VHF radio
Heated seats
Ceramic window tint
Glowshift 3in1 gauge
Skidplate
Receiver hitch
Way too many lights (At least according to my wallet) - Diode Dynamics and ARB
Probably more I am forgetting.

Upcoming -
Radiator replacement (R.I.P. little guy)
Interior soft LED lighting
OEM roof rack removal and replacement with Yakima tracks.
Front and rear e-lockers
Regearing

Does anyone know how to add cruise control or heated mirrors?

All is being documented on IG (of course) @the_redbrick

Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Replaced the blown radiator and took it for a test drive. Found that the heater core was blocked (no heat) - flushed it as soon as I got home. Otherwise a successful repair.

Lockers and regearing happening in a few weeks!!!

Ha Ha .... I love that... saving a Taco!

Sounds like a very sweet build. Will be looking forward to more pics.

Cheers

Folding electric mirrors were only for Japan I think. You can tell if its a JDM model if you have chrome mirrors and chrome grill and door handles.

Any more info on the sliders? My Google-fu is poor.
A local builder -Nick at Adventure Fab. He did the bumpers on my firetruck. Mine are weld-on. If you are interested, I believe he saves all the measurements and could set you up with a pair. I will post a few pics shortly.

Work completed this month:
Skid plates
Speaker/tweeter upgrade with underseat subwoofer
Door-cards repaired (clips separated from paperboard)
Dynamat in 5 doors
Front-facing camera
Rock lights

Next on the list:
Front and rear lockers and regear (happening this week)
Oil catch can
I/C deep clean
Interior light upgrade

Well - not looking so good for Cruise Moab. I was putting out a lot of oil smoke and decided to pull the turbo for an inspection/rebuild.
A new turbo is ordered, but I doubt it will be here by Friday.
I also checked compression and #2 is a bit low - 310 PSI. I will do a leak-down test this weekend to try and narrow the issue.

Really, really disappointed.
