I am having a leak from a different spot then, Brasi. I borrowed the pic he posted. My leak is coming from the fitting with the green arrow. How do I fix that? Is that fuel line still available??

Have you tried just tightening them?

I did try tightening it, after help from ToyotaMatt. I’m missing the brass ferrell.

What size is the hard fuel line pipe\tubing? Is copper acceptable for the fuel line? Mine is old/rusty

5/16…and yes.

😉

The brass ferrule is a standard 5/16 compression sleeve, available at any hardware or plumbing shop.
I’m wondering if it’s bigger than that, I tried 5/16 and 1/4 and that didn’t work…

I’m an idiot, it is 5/16 but the “beveled” style did not work. I am going to try a rounded one.

Does anyone know the nut size that holds the carburetor down. My carb is missing a nut.

Don't use a 13mm nut. Wrench won't clear carb base

Japanese Industrial Standard

I.e. a 8mm x 1.25 x 12mm nut, as opposed to DIN , German Industrial Standard which is a 13mm nut for the same 8mm spec.

You probably won't find a local hardware
