Let's go wheeling before the Jemez closes the gates for the season. I'd like to explore FR376 going from north to south, then eventually go through the Gilman tunnels.

Bring sleds, dogs, foods, kids, hot chocolate, fire pit, recovery gear, and warm clothes. If you have tire chains, please bring them just in case!

We hope to return to ABQ by 1900 hrs at the latest but will plan on earlier.

Meeting place: home depot Bernalillo at 0900 hrs. Wheels up at 0930. Home Depot · Rio Rancho, NM 87144 - https://goo.gl/maps/obWtfrVDb18Zrv4i7
Communication: HAM radio, freq 146.400

Hmmmmmm maybe maybe! Thanks for putting this out there

Nope. Not going anywhere until I can carry a spare tire.

You could toss it in the cargo 🤔

Wish I could be there. We're headed back to Tucson Sunday morning.

@alia176 sorry my weekend is now commandeered by family holiday stuff. Not gonna be able to get away. Scout is 😞

I’ll be there as well as a friend in a Jeep

Who’s bringing a chain saw? Mine is finicky at the moment…

You think we're going to have to clear some trails at this time of the year?

We're going to be having some breakfast at the range Cafe in bernalillo in case anybody wants to join.

I hope they found some snow.
Staying tuned for the epic Jemez snow carnage report

It was so dry (maybe 1” in spots), I felt bad for Ali not getting to rescue anyone that I got off the trail while backing up just enough to pull line.

I was quite content with the recovery work we did. As always, they are learning moments that help us to stay sharp.

Here is the track log and a screenshot of our route yesterday. I'm not sure if this will come through but it is a file that should open up Google maps.

We started and ended at the Gilman tunnels.
