"Faith", our GWP/Griffon @ about 6-7 years.
"Milo", our newest addition: a 7 mo GSP.
Both are "pound puppies"!
I regret that Milo (the GSP) passed over the Rainbow Bridge sometime early New Year's Day. He enjoyed helping to host a small party and went to bed with us as usual. He got up in the early AM to go outside (about 3-4AM) and was gone when we awoke, having passed peacefully, apparently in his sleep. He had suffered a neck injury (sprain or strain) while wrestling with Faith and had been put on muscle relaxers. My only guess is he passed a blood clot and stroked out.
Although he was only with us for about a month, he is already, and will continue to be, missed. His ashes will be stored with those of the other puppies we have had and will eventually be mixed with mine and the wife's to be spread in a scenic wilderness place.
