Blue Devil transmission sealer (1 Viewer)

Has anyone tried Blue Devil transmission sealer in their 40?

It is supposed to work in manual transmissions.

Hoping for a temporary fix.

I have no idea but, usually they are snake oil.

where is it leaking from?
have you checked your transfer case oil level?

That is the leak, tranfer case to transmission.

I will eventually get the seals done, just trying to delay the expense.

Might want to explore the T-case to transmission bypass hose option as a short-term solution. @shipmag

It was the Prospector's Idea

Matt, if you aren't too far try some spray copper gasket sealer on your gasket. Another trick is to double up. gaskets its a bit hoakie but it works.

X2 on the bypass/return hose

guys have run with them for years with no issues

Mine went from massive drippage, to a drop now and then.
