I can find the 70s with 15" wheels but 16". I hate calling the local dealership. A-holes.Think there was a 16" split sold internationally. There is also a 70 series wagon type wheel in 16". Those are the only OEMs I am aware of in 16.
Fj25’s & Many LV’s came with 16’s. Internationally, lots of 40’series came on 16’s (not splits) They are out there, but you Have to search far & wide.

Thank you. I checked those "..spensive". Fronts are $317 and rears are $203. I purchased 5 of CirtyRacer's 16" steelies. I better stick with those. I'll not invest $1500 in something I'm not sure about. The other part # I listed is the wagon wheel. Looks like some dealers have them....

I've got them on my '86 FJ60, with BFG 235/85R16 ATs, and may buy some for my '71 FJ40 build. To use the same taller tire on an FJ40 it would need a 2" lift.Nobody has done this? Just one more reason for me to try it, I guess. I’ll call my Toyota dealer today and see if they can get them.
I've been running them on my 60 for awhile. Recently moved them from my 60 onto my '69 fj40 after doing an old man emu lift. I think they look pretty good and fit with no issues.Nobody has done this?
