Think there was a 16" split sold internationally. There is also a 70 series wagon type wheel in 16". Those are the only OEMs I am aware of in 16.

I can find the 70s with 15" wheels but 16". I hate calling the local dealership. A-holes.

Fj25’s & Many LV’s came with 16’s. Internationally, lots of 40’series came on 16’s (not splits) They are out there, but you Have to search far & wide.

I knew there were 16s, but haven't seen the oem wagon wheel type in 16 other than what I referenced above.

I have 16” OEM chrome wagon wheels on my BJ74. They are really rare here, but in Australia you can find them, most get rid of them for almost nothing. Might be worth the shipping.

Yes, they exist. As stated in Australia, chrome, either one-piece or in a split-rim, and also come on models used in Canadian mines, a dull-silver color as is pictured above. The above part number works, but expect no help from most Dealer Parts Managers and be told they were never imported to the US and are unavailable or out-of-stock. Persistent searching can pay off--either new or used.

Good luck.

Thank you. I checked those "..spensive". Fronts are $317 and rears are $203. I purchased 5 of CirtyRacer's 16" steelies. I better stick with those. I'll not invest $1500 in something I'm not sure about.

Much cheaper and free shipping w coupon on site (may need to do multiple orders as free shipping up to $200 in shipping when spending $75+....

I’m thinking about putting the 16x6 70 series wheels on my 40 series.

Anybody here done that? Seems like this is a great way to get perfect fitment, OEM Toyota quality and a slightly different look for not a lot of money.
Please post pics if you’ve got’em!

Nobody has done this? Just one more reason for me to try it, I guess. I’ll call my Toyota dealer today and see if they can get them.
I've got them on my '86 FJ60, with BFG 235/85R16 ATs, and may buy some for my '71 FJ40 build. To use the same taller tire on an FJ40 it would need a 2" lift.

I've been running them on my 60 for awhile. Recently moved them from my 60 onto my '69 fj40 after doing an old man emu lift. I think they look pretty good and fit with no issues.

Yes, I bought them from my local dealer. I have posted a thread somewhere, may be in my 1982 FJ40 thread With part no’s. They were cheap, like <$150 ea. They come powder coated sliver/ pewter. I am having mine striped and powder coated RAL 9010 right now. Here is a pic of my 82 w the 15” wheels. The 16” will look almost the same but give me more tire choices. The wheels in the pic were coated in 1013, but 9010 is lighter and a little closer to Cygnus according to the other Mud experts here.

I've been reading up on the wagon wheel white color options and like the RAL 9010 for my 16x6" wheels. Sounds we have the same plan. Hope yours came out nice and you are happy with the color. Can you post a pic or two? I plan to run 255/85R16 Toyo MT's. Currently running a set of FJ60 15" Chrome wagons with 34x9.5r15 TSL Swampers. Pic of 16x6 white wheel as I bought them. They look to be spray can white(not original) and in need restoration. The grill bezel on my 40 is a factory new old stock pre-painted by Toyota for reference. Wheel/tire pic below on a red 40 (from Spin Doctor) is from another post and noted to be RAL 9010 as well. I think it looks great.
