Camp while on the hunt for wild Arizona native trout.

We used to have a yearly family outing going out to Earl Park Lake which had these and rainbows. Single barbless hook only and catch and release. These fish have shoulders on them, for their size they are tough to beat. Won't jump like rainbows but don't tire as easily. We have pulled several out of there the exceed 20" over the years. I had a 22" for my best fish.

Back in the LandCruiser game with this 98 locked 100! I got back on the hunt in mid 2020 and quickly abandoned that venture once I realized how stupid high the prices had gotten! Later today I’ll be picking up an 02 LX...I didn’t realize until now the deep depression not having a LC causes in ones life🤣

New wheels and tires put on over the weekend - 17" ICON Rebound with LT 285/70/17 Goodyear Ultraterrains. Quick shakedown at Seven Springs. Rides like butter and a big upgrade over the 20" wheels + all seasons.

I did a lot of research before landing on the tire size/choice and I can say I'm very happy with these Goodyears. Needs some better pics, I just quickly snapped these.

Glad you made it out safely. Saturday's storms were crazy, traffic on the 60 W and 101 N was moving at 60MPH.

But great looking rig.

Muddin’ Up by the old Zane Grey ranch (a bit east of Payson) this morning.

Found a very muddy challenging trail, had to use the rear lockers, well, I needed an excuse to…eh.

Picked up my 08 with it's new/used Tundra transplant motor. 260k on the LC, 92k on the motor...roll on.

Not this week, but next week the 200 is going to be getting a 2.0-2.5" Dobinson IMS Lift w/ UCAs, new 17" Icon wheels, and some new Toyo AT3s. I feel like I've done all of the research available on MUD but am starting to second guess myself on tire size. I've got a new set of 285/75/r17 (essentially 34s) and I know to expect minimal rubbing at a few points on full lock... but any chance anyone here is running a similar setup? Worst case scenario after install if the rubbing is too much I can just swap out a set of the tried and true 285/70/r17s (33s) but if anyone is running anything similar and knows that it just wont work with the 34s, I'd like to go ahead and return these 34s and just get the 33s installed next week as planned. Any advice?

Go with the 34’s, you’ll have big tire envy with 33’s and let’s face it, 200 series owners don’t want to flex too much or get AZ pinstripes. You won’t be rubbing enough.

Well, we'll see how much flexing & pinstriping the 200 gets. I'm not afraid of it but this vehicle isn't going to be replacing my 80 as my main trail rig. But I definitely am partial to the aesthetics of the 34s vs the 33s.

I just don't want there to be significant rubbing on the body as it shifts with normal driving. But I think I've had enough PMs and responses on my thread in the 200 Series Forum to not be too worried about it at this point.
