FJ60 & FJ62 Front Speaker Adapters and Spacer (2 Viewers)

The grills that came with the speakers would have worked. I wasn't sure when I ordered everything, so got the amazon grills at the same time. When I was buttoning everything up I tried both, and liked the look of the amazon grills more, so went with those. Definitely not necessary.

Thanks for the tip on the filter. I'll order one up.

Got these back in March. Haven’t had time to post. Replaced my factory speakers all thanks to these. Came with the hardware. I love them. I put Pioneer TS-G520 and they were on sale for 50$ at Bestbuy at the time. Easy install. A month later I put some second skin sound deadening around the speakers since they were starting to make the door rattle from all the sound now. I have a Kenwood DPX501BT that replaced my stock radio. Sounds really great now. Thank you!!

I echo all the positive words about these speaker spacers / adapters! Got ‘em fast and came with all the hardware. Easy install and allowed me to easily swap my factory front speakers with some new Kickers (which sound fantastic) and fit nicely behind the factory speaker grills! And ... yep, that’s a dead stock Sony cassette deck that I just installed - currently playing Van Halen II.

I appreciate not having any extra shenanigans required in getting the door card off, unlike if you mounted a speaker to the card itself.

I am still printing these. I am out of town for a few weeks, but if you message me I can get them started for you when I get back. I'm printing them in a grey color at the moment but you don't see them after the doorcard goes back on.

As you can see I am new to the ih8mud community. I have been surfing this site for some time now and created an account today. I am currently replacing my 12-year-old son's FJ 60 window crank. I am taking advantage of the opportunity and adding sound matt in the door and replacing the moisture barrier as well. I am also very interested to get a pair of speaker adapter plates. Still printing these. BTW I measured for someone and these adapters give 2" of clearance from the speaker mounting surface. This is typically how depth is measured for speakers.
