DUI distributor with no vac advance? (1 Viewer)

Hi all--Asking in the 40 forum for more visibility:

I just bought an FJ55 that someone began converting to fuel injection using the AFI kit. The truck has a DUI distributor installed but the unit has no vacuum advance and instead a 6-ish wire connector that was running into the AFI wire harness. Fully electronic spark timing here? I am not finding much information searching as most DUI threads seem to mention the vacuum advance version.

What do I have here? Is this thing usable without fuel injection? I ask because I am seriously considering going back to the 2F carb (and potentially stock distributor, depending on whether I could use this one or not).

Apologies if this is well-covered territory, perhaps I am not using the right search terms.

Your tbi injection advances and retards the timing , so you’d use a distributor that has all the timing features removed.
