Got the motor and trann6 split. Will begin refreshing the motor next.

Wow! Great work. Looks like you're on Step 10 of a Revell model!

This was meant to be a cab swap, ended up as a mini resto. But yes, I guess step 10 makes sense, lol.

Motor undressed today. Got a bunch of cleaning to do. Lots of desmog parts for whomever needs them!

Got a couple crappy pics.

My pilot bearing puller was too big to use so I used the bread trick. Worked like a charm!

I got my brand new clutch installed, together with koyo throwout and pilot, and got the motor an tranny married. Tomorrow, I am hoping to get it set in the chassis.

Nice job purchasing the AISIN clutch kit. Best value out there.

Cab and chassis are ready to be married! Put in a bunch of hours today to get me to that point. Pheeewww

Manhandled the cab into place today. Now I can move on with the interior and such...but not before modifying the tranny hump, as it doesn't fit! The donor must have been automatic as the hole in the hump is 4" too far back.
Little setback but not too worried. I'll get it sorted in the next few days.

Guys go back to the beginning of the thread and let me know if any of you want to the custom tray i built a few years back. I don't want to put it back on. It needs a good scrape and paint and frankly, I just am tired of maintaining it. It's also heavy, like 3 to 4 hundred pounds or so. I will build a new custom tray, possibly of aluminum. If anyone wants it, it's free!

I cleaned the heater core and the ac evap and the blower. Got it back in the truck. Got the harness in as well. Trying to maybe get this thing going this weekend. I am taking delivery of my Rivian R1T on Saturday, so all of Saturday is lost as I have to get to Brooklyn to take delivery. I am going to get most if the dash in tomorrow and possibly start her up.

I took one look at my AC evaporator and said "screw it." I bought a new one.
